I am 16 degrees from Priscilla Alden through an Adams/Van Skiver marriage connection. (Mother's side of the family)

Priscilla and I are 2nd Cousins, 13 times removed (Father's side of my family).  Common ancestor:Richard Bridger.

Family lore is that I am direct descendant of Priscilla- but so far I haven't found a direct link.  According to relationship finder its 13 degrees - not direct. My family has deep roots in SE Massachusetts (Plymouth Colony) and I still haven't flushed out all the connections.
