free space page title

I have two People's Protestant Cemeteries. When I addedd the second it added a -1 after the name, I imagine because the name was the same. I went in and edited the second one to be People's Protestant Cemetery - Kensington but on the cemetery category it still has the old name.

Will this update at some point to the new name?

Thanks,

Dawn

When you create a free space page, the ID (in the URL) is set to what you entered for the name, but it doesn't change when you update the name later. The only way to change it is to create a new space page with the name you want and then merge the old one into it.

Alternatively, you could just leave it as is, since it only really shows up with that name in the category listing.

I might be corrected on this by someone with more experience in categories, but I don't think that problem will fix itself.  I think the solution is to manually remove all the profiles from the category with the incorrect name and then reassign those profiles to a new category with the correct name.  Once the category with the incorrect name becomes an empty category, it eventually disappears, or at least does not get displayed.  It's somewhat of a pain, but at least it appears that there aren't many profiles involved.

It's not a category, it's a free space page
Perhaps we're talking semantics, but it's shown as a category in the link you provided, and if you look at the profiles listed under that link, they have a category tag that calls the cemetery name.  So I still think my original answer was correct, based on one experience with trying to associate a profile with a cemetery in Pennsylvania.  The word Pennsylvania was misspelled in the category name, and there was no way to correct it other than to start over.

Perhaps try adding the Categories tag to the original question, and that may bring it to the attention of someone who can provide an authoritative answer.
I linked that category page because that is where the free space page shows up with the incorrect name. The problem is on the free space page:

even in that link the name has the -1 at the end. But I changed that name to remove the -1 and added Kensington.
