Reading information on German WW1 dog tag

I took a photo of a dog tag in a museum that was reportedly found in the mud on a French battlefield during WW1.

I think that I have read the name and birth date/location.

Does anyone know what anything else on the dog tag is about?

One of the words is "Braunschweig", which is a place in Lower Saxony.  (I think that translates to "Brunswick".)

Hey Troy,

I would read it like this:

first 3 lines are name, adress and birthdate:

Rich.[ard] Levin, Braunschweig, Grabenstr.[aße] 3, 31.3.[18]93

the rest are his unit and his personal numbers

1. Ers.[atz] Batt.[ailon] I.[nfanterie] R.[egiment] 78

{Rekr.} {….} 3. K.[ompagnie] Nr.

Ers.[atz] I.[nfanterie] R.[egiment] 28  9. K.[ompagnie] No 723.

----------------

there are two parts, that I can not read or decipher unless you have a better photo.

Edit: I will have a closer look into this guy, maybe we can find something in the military records.

Thank you very much - so they were born/lived at number 3 on road Grabenstraße in Braunschweig? (I.e. https://goo.gl/maps/CYdiy6ApVnVbHdA59 )

Exactly. Assuming the street names didn't change.

Since he was only 19 or even younger when he was recruited, it probably is the adress of the parents.
