Having difficulty updating status on WikiData suggestions, need help please

Hi, I am trying to clear two suggestions on WikiData. First Blacker-404 on Hint 542 (difficulty: Advance) I first updated status 08.01.23, and it has reappeared. Tried again today and it states "Double post. Status not updated."

Second Blacker-404 on hint 544 (difficulty: Advance), I believe his mother is Elizabeth Young-53280, as per Burke's Blacker transcript, she may have also been known as Barbara, but I do not have a source for that.

Do I need to clear both hints together? Thank you for any help.

The WikiData suggestions are comparing the relationships on the WikiData site to the WikiTree site.  If they do not match, that is when Suggestions are generated.  

If WikiTree is correct with 'Reliable sources', then the WikiData should be corrected so the relationships would match and the suggestions would not be generated.

The reason the Suggestion is marked as Advanced is because most people do not know how and / or do not want to make changes on WikiData.  Marking a Suggestion as False should always include the reason for why it is considered as False. Too may people mark Suggestions as False because they don't want to fix things, not because the information is actually incorrect, which it may be in your case.

If you are uncomfortable making the change to WikiData and you have a Source that is considered Reliable, then hopefully, someone would agree to make the change or look at WikiData.

I would also add a tag for Ireland, so someone that is from that project would know whether your source is Reliable or not.

The Double post message means that you set the same status twice. It is not a problem. It just prevents 2 same statuses.

Suggestions 542 and 544 do not require any action on WikiTree. As it states on the help page:

Missing link to Wikitree on Wikidata.

That means that based on relations on WikiTree and WikiData, WikiData page can ge linked to WikiTree profile. That will enable further checking of dates, locations and relatives.

In your case Blacker-90 seems to be the same person as Q75653311 Just the death date is wrong on Wikidata for 30 years. All wikidata info comes from the Peerage site where it is also wrong. And The peerage states as a source "Montgomery-Massingberd, Hugh. Burke's Irish Family Records. London, U.K.: Burkes Peerage Ltd, 1976." Correct way is to connect wikidata profile to wikitree. I did that now. It will cause next week a suggestion about death date. It can be marked as a false suggestion. It would also be good to add a Research note that WikiData and ThePeerage have wrong death date, so it doesn't get corrected in the future.

Simillar for Young-53280 it seems the name on WikiTree is wrong. According to husband's source her name is Barbara. and then it is the same as Q75653322, so I also linked it.

Both suggestions have now been set to false  - the one for Blacker-404 that you marked as corrected on the 8th, would have come back again as the same conditions still existed as before (even though it was incorrect - marking them as false will stop them from being reported again

Is the source being used considered Reliable or Unreliable?  Are there sources in that book?

If it is considered to be reliable, instead of marking the Suggestion as False, should WikiData be corrected?

When a Suggestion is marked as False, it should have a comment to indicate 'why' it is a False Suggestion, ie information is incorrect and sourced on Wikitree, or any other reason so people do not have to guess why it was marked as False.  I have reviewed many False Suggestions and people stated they didn't want to update WikiData or they didn't make the change, so they are not going to update it, etc, as well as helpful Comments that it is sourced properly on Wikitree or something else.
