How can I add categories for my DNA research?

Hello, 

For my atDNA researach, I want to add categories to my ancestors so that I can use these categories as badges in the WikiTree FanChart app.

I am interested in tagging profiles with the following information:

1. Multiple relationships:

 I have found a category for Multiple Marriages, which I can use for most cases, but not for all. 

=> May I add a new category "Multiple relationships" underneath the category "Family"?

2. Illegitimate children:

I have found a category "Illegitimate", but this is to tag the child. However, I want to tag a parent with one or more illegitimate children. 

=> May I add a new category "Illegitimate children" underneath the category "Family"?

3. Fewer then two siblings:

I would like to categorise profiles with one or no siblings. 

=> May I add a new category "Fewer than two siblings" underneath the category "Family"?

4. More than eight siblings´:

I would like to categorise profiles with more than eight siblings. 

=> May I add a new category "More than eight siblings" underneath the category "Family"?

Any recommendations or feedback or alternative ideas or hints to naming conventions etc. would be very much appreciated.

since your intent is to use these with the Fanchart, then all of these should be in personal categories.  We don't categorize most of the items you describe otherwise.  Realize that the one you want of ''more than 8 siblings'' would get applied to ALL those siblings, thus would get big fast.  8 or more children isn't that unusual in older times (not that older either, I have 44 first cousins, from 5 uncles/aunts).  See Personal Categories Help
