We have three events

CC7x7 Wall Climb on Sunday, August 27 at 8 am EDT/Noon UTC.

*
Here is the full livecast schedule for the hangouts, every four hours: Space:WikiGames#LiveCast_Schedule

Come visit our Team Page at https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Exquisite_Elms and let us know what you’ll be working on. Or you can start your own thread below by Answering this post. You can give us updates on your progress, ask for and give help, etc. Remember don't start on our 4 Olympians until the start of the CC7x7 wall climb on Sunday to maximize the gain. Nothing wrong with identifying potential connections beforehand though.

Please consider joining us on the Exquisite Elms Discord Channel. It’s a lot of fun to have live conversations going on during these types of events. If you’re not already on the Discord server there are instructions on the help page.

I am looking forward to hanging out with you!

I've done some ground work on Taylor on the space page and there's a To-Do List/ Log on there as well.

It doesn't look like anyone else is joining me but if you want to join in just add yourself to the To-Do List/ Log.

If you want to chat about it, ping me on Discord.

My discord is @kirsten (Hart-17479)

Have fun and Go Elms! laugh

I'm pre-gaming as much as I can with Taylor and adding links to the FSP for the Scottish census records that have children/siblings etc so if anyone wants to pick a line and help with that, they are welcome to do so. An Ancestry or FMP account would probably be needed to do it quickly.

Also, her husband was Canadian, so lots of scope for anyone interested in Canadian records.
I'm working on LaCroix siblings right now. I've made notes on the Elm's LaCroix research page as to where I have concerns or areas that need help. I use primarily FamilySearch, FindAGrave, also have gengophers.
Last update for the night. Arthur Pierre Fornier Family for Alfonse Albert Lacroix, https:www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Arthur_Pierre_Fournier_Family_for_Alfonse_Albert_Lacroix on his Research page. This is the 3rd set of family members; not NEAR done.

Running numbers for you:

1st upload had 17 people w/60 more to do.

2nd upload had 20 people w/35 more to do.

3rd upload had 26 people w/138 more to do.

Putting it all together: there are 63 people that have been sourced, or attempted, at FindA. Some need more research as info came from Bios on family pages, or don't have an image of the headstone; maybe 10 max.

There are 233 that I still have to manipulate the data on, but when Sunday rolls around, we potentially have 296 people to connect to the Tree.

And, oh yeah, this is ONLY 3 small pieces of Alfonse Albert Lacroix 1st wife's family; I have YET to run his 2nd wife or HIS family! But now I am gone, l8er!

Put this on discord at 3am this morning. I have been adding to the Lacroix Research page because while I have 23 pages of Duffy sourced family from FindA, someone said that Lacroix was more prevalent & we'd probably be better with that.

I would LOVE to put those 23 pages of sourced people for duffey somewhere but in my Google docs. It was asking WHERE I should/how should I put that when I got the Lacroix is better line, whatever, I just run data.

DO you want these 23 pages? & where/how do you want them?
Here is the Josephine (Champagne) Fournier Family for Alfonse Albert Lacroix FreeSpace page. This 1 needs more work from other sources. 6 girls only known due to Bios from death of 6 YO brother & 14 YO sister. Names, husband/married names, some FN's, locations. No dates or birth order.

NOW I'm done for the night (at 8:02am!); practicing, I guess.
Thanks for all your hard work, Pat! Now go get some sleep so you're ready to go for the event tomorrow.
I don't see much reference to anyone working on Rowley and I don't see much on his research page.  I will try to help on this one and see what I can find.  My research experience is United States and some in England.
Thank you.
Eva Grette Malo LaCroix Family for Alfonse Albert Lacroix is now on Laroix Research Page. A couple here need links other than FindA.

No image, no memorial, mentioned only in the Bios on Family Memorials. A couple of child deaths, too.

On to the next; her birth family, Malo where we get another 12.
Here's the break-down of what I think might be my last contribution before the games. Gotta set up my power station! I'll selfy the exprince to share the fun! LOL!

This is Eva Malo's gparents. She got top billing because she had more kids on her Memorial. This is a mixed bag I have given you. This actively adds 16 completely sourced people to our run count. At the same time, there are 14 people that have already been sourced, but not added to the count, that needs another source as this 1 gives direction, not fact.

But my last contribution is the possible 40 additions held in reserve if we find we need them. I figure that's a cake-walk since FindA is so easy to source: just mine the data.

The possible connection count from these sources are 300+.

You will notice LOTS of data & all of it intertwined. There is a pattern to the way they are & how they are connected. Direct kids are single digits on matching spouses; it's the same all the way down.

Now to my toy becoming SUPER COMPUTER!!!
I came on this morning at 3 am to try to catch up. I have paid subs to the following resources: Ancestry (US only), Genealogy Bank, Newspapers.com, Fold3. I have logins on all the free sites: FAG, FS, etc. I've been doing family history since 1988, pre Internet.  I am willing to work on any US profile. I tried to go through the discord chat to see what the team decided on collaboration style but was unable to quickly get to the meat.  I'll see how the discussion plays out over the next couple of days to see how I can collaborate along side of y'all.  I'm really looking forward to this! I've been trying to get ahead on my daily tasks this week to open up my weekend to focus on this challenge.

Ok, so the computer didn't quit work out as I had hoped; I forgot the surge protector. So I got data together for what I had already started to run 3 days ago before I got lost in the details & lost the pattern.

Th Shea Family for Arthur Francis Duffey, Robert Ashton Family for Arthur Francis Duffey & Arthur Francis Duffey Sr. Family for Arthur Francis Duffey. Yes, the page IS actually Th & not a typo. I lost C, D, E, & 3 on the toy & I forget & start typing on the toy & end up on the other keyboard; it got past me before I could catch it.

I didn't mean to step on toes if I did. I had this data already run & my philosophy is better to have it & not need it than need it & not have it. It helps the Team better where everyone can access it freely as opposed to waiting for something to work with or connect with. So here are a lot of data points to connect with.

Let the Games begin! LOL! We are ready!!

I’m new to this CC7 stuff, but I think I get it and I’ve done a lot of connecting. I read genealogical French and am familiar with old French Canadian church records on Family search.  But I don’t really know best how to cooperate. I’ll try to find our discord channel.
