Jewish governor needs connecting

Question

Governor Frank Litch, the first Jewish governor of Rhode Island, is now the only deceased United States governor who remains unconnected from the Global Tree. He has a CC7 of 96, but no connection yet.

Perhaps someone with knowledge of Jewish records or an interest in Rhode Island would like to see if they can find the link that the U.S. Governor's Project has been missing.

I know nothing about searching Jewish or Rhodesia land roots. But I love a good connection challenge!!

Hi David.  I have not been active on facebook for awhile but I'll take a crack at this. I went to Brown and worked for the university library system.

Congratulation Thomas Koehnline for making the connection. Gov. Litch and his wife both had Eastern European parents, but the connection appears to have been made through Dorothy Litch's Russian line. Very impressive!
