Could someone please tell me what it says for entry 103:

  1.  in the second column which is the "Stand, Character, bisheriger Aufenthaltsort, Religion"
  2. and the word after his father's name,
  3.  and the cause of death. I can read the rest of the entry, but cannot read those three things. https://www.ancestry.ca/sharing/7654247?mark=7b22746f6b656e223a22766a7835547449314179322f4b7145307a7662327071745764662f42435166665143752f757277654b45383d222c22746f6b656e5f76657273696f6e223a225632227d

Also, this marriage record #24 I am trying to read what his and/or his parents' occupations were.

Hey Culley,

I would really love to help but the sharing links do not work - both are blocked halfway by the Ancestry sign-up / login that can't be operated or closed, so that you cannot see or enlarge the source completely

Are these any better? One, Two.

Hey Culley, this worked fine. Here is what I read:

103. / Johann Adam Nißler gb. hier 24 Decb. 1797 / hies.[iger] Bürger u. Blauhmüller, ev.[angelisch] / † Johannes Nißler, B.[ürger] u. Bauer † Maria Magdalena gb. Kloz / [Ehemann von] Christiane Wilhelmine gb. Dinkelacker / 51 Jahre 9 Mon. [alt] / [Todesursache Abzehrung in Folge einer Zellgewebsentzündung / [verstorben] hier d. 18 Sept. Vormittags 10 Uhr / [beigesetzt] hier d. 20 Sept. Nachmittags 1 Uhr Grabrede <Kürzel> / Familienregister Band II B, Seite 297

24. / Johann Adam Nißler, Maria Magdalena Leibfried / Bäcker und Wittwer, Blauhmüller / __ Johannes Nißler, Bauier [Familienregister] T. II f. 279, T. I, f. 148) ___ Maria Magdalena geb. Kloz, Johann Georg Laibfried, Bauer [Familienregister] T. II f. 171 ___ Maria Dorothea, geb. Ganzborn / Er: Vid.[uus] v. ___ Christine Dorothea, geb. Leibfried, † 6. Marti. 1829 – Sie: Ledig / * 24. Dezember 1797. - 22. September 1807. / Aufgebot: Sindelfinden Dom.[inica] p.[ost] Trin.[itatis] 11., 12. ] 13. / [Getraut] den 20n. September 1829 / [durch] id. [= den 1. Diakon] / [Vermerk] Von der Schwägerschaft des 1n. Grads [dispensiert] <Kürzel 17. 7br. 1829. / [Familienregister] Band II, S. 297

His father was a Bürger (citizen) and his profession was farmer.

In 1829 Johann Adam Nißler's profession is given as baker, so maybe "Blauhmüller" even has another meaning an is not really a profession. I could not find any definition for Blauhmüller / Blaumüller and found it only as a family name in southern Germany. I hope someone in the Tree has further ideas.

Kind regards!

Thank you so very much for this, Heike!!

I am guessing it doesn't really say Blauhmüller, but Bleichmüller, as the area of Sindelfingen was Bleichmühl and he could have been working as a Bleichmüller. As the second youngest child of the youngest child I would doubt he had any land at all. I suppose it could also mean he was a citizen of Bleichmühl.

Thank you Culley, this does make much more sense - I love that we are always learning new things through the exchange here. Have a nice research time :-)
