I need to undo merge and other changes I made to Helgerson-54and revert to what it was on 16 Nov 23.

Question

I attempted to bring in Teldem Arnesdattor Helgeson to birth name from a gedcom from Roots Magic of what I thought were her ancestors. It's my gedcom. I merged them but messed up the profile I had already created. Tilda Helgerson-54. Tilda is the preferred name.

I don't know how to revert to the day before - 16 Nov 23. I hope someone can help and provide some assistance with this line of Norwegian ancestors. I'd like to add the ancestors who go back to the 1500 in Norway from Roots Magic to compare and add to Wikitree. Herb

Hi Herb. Sorry but there is no way just to undo a merge. If two different profiles should exist, you need to re-create the profile that was merged away, then edit each of them till they are as they should be.

The change history of the two profiles may be useful. The history of the profile that still exists is obtainable in the usual way. It is at

If instead only one profile should exist, I hope the above histories and the individual changes they contain will still help. Do not look at individual changes rapidly: it is possible that if you look at too many (10 in a minute perhaps?), a security mechanism will temporarily lock you out of the system.
