Col. Selby Harney. Harney-226

Col. Selby Harney's gravestone is inscribed he died in 1799 and it has been generally accepted. However he signed his Will on 9 Apr 1800, and added a Codicil on 27 Oct 1800 in North Carolina, after the death of his son Benjamin. The Will was first exhibited in court in NC in the Feb term 1801. Later in court in Tennessee in 1825. The Will proves he did not die in 1799 as is generally accepted. I added a Research Note to the biography, and a copy of the Will. Is there another way to correct the death date in the greater genealogy community?
