Having great difficulties adding an unrelated person to Died At Sea

Question

I am having difficulties adding Ingvald Leroy of Norway.  Must be doing something wrong., but unsure what.  Can soneone tell me what I am doing wrong.  I still do not have his parents so am off to look for them.  He definitely died at sea as he was the skipper of a ship under the Shetland Bus.
