My 6th great grandmother is Lavina Dorsay Crooks Wilson, however all I can find of her parents is that her mother was a Mccoy and her father a Wilson of course, both born in Northern Ireland. According to the Indiana DAR applications, she is listed as being born in Ireland herself although there are others who claim she was born in 1750 in Bath County, Kentucky and some who say Fort Pitt in Pennsylvania. I can find absolutely nothing regarding who her parents are and have been working on this for almost a year now. Any help will be appreciated.
