Is there a way to add a person to your trusted list by using their surname tag [WikiTree ID]?

IS there a way to add a person to your trusted list bu using there Sir-name tag. IE zimmerman-2446 or jones-22598459, instead of there e-mail address I would like to add several folks here to my trusted list.  We all seem to be deeply involved in researching some of the same names. What I would like to do is, say add jones-3 to ALL of of my trusted list for the name jones. but I don't know his e-mail address

Oh the names here are fictitious to keep some one here from doing it FOR me.

Thanks

Hey Doug,

The way to do it is only through entering the other WikiTreer's email. This way they ask to be added and are added.

Interesting thought though.

Hi Doug,

No, as Mags mentions it's done with the user's e-mail address only, unless they requested to be added.

We originally allowed additions by WikiTree ID but found that this was making it a little too easy for people to be added to Trusted Lists they didn't want to be on. This is still a problem -- leads to overcrowded Watchlists -- but requiring e-mail addresses helps.
