Problem accepting GEDCOM compare report

I received my gedcom compare report and I have gone through it to accept or reject suggested matches.

In the instruction it tells me that when I have done this to click on the approve button on the report.  I have looked everywhere on my report for that button and I can't find it.

I need to get this done in order to be confirmed for a member, and not just as a guest.  I can't do much as a guest.  I can't even add my own parents on my profile page because the gedcom I uploaded hasn't been accepted yet.

I have volunteered and I think been accepted, but again, I really need to get membership status to do much here.  I have had correspondence with one of the greeters yesterday, her first name is Shirley, and she was really nice.

I have another thing that needs to be fixed, which is my name at birth, but that can't be done until this first issue is resolved.  I did e-mail "enowyn"  (I think that it is how it is spelled), and received an e-mail message that my message had been received and would be looked at.   I am only posting here because it was one of the suggestions I was given.  I know this site runs on volunteers and I appreciate that, so my post here is not meant to be a rush, I can't wait, but rather, just trying to get the information regarding the issue to as many people as possible, and perhaps a solution can be found.  I think this site is a great one, and want to be a full part of ot.

Hi

  1. You have a volunteer badge on your profile
  2. You uploaded a Gedcom link 2016-06-27 01:08:01
    1. 826 persons
    2. earliest person 1598
    3. includes 106 sources
  3. Status is you have not approved the import

My suggestion

Quality is more important than quantity inside WikiTree

As Wikitree is a site for genealogy and we base our research on evidences using sources. When I see your gedcom with 826 persons and just 106 sources I would suggest

  1. Start add some profiles manually and add sources to those profiles and see if you like WikiTree

  2. If you decide to upload a Gedcom  split your Gedcom in smaller parts and if possible add more sources. No one is happy if you upload profiles without sources and don't have time adding sources.... and if we have no sources we can't work together with the WikiTree family tree....
