Thomas and Margrit married November 1718 Illogan, Cornwall, England. My great Grand Parents 7 generations removedThomas and "Margit" Pearce were found living in the New England Colony of Newtown, Fairfield, Connecticut in 1734.  They had 3 children, Elisha 1734, Francis and Israel March 1737. I would like to determine if the UK couple and the Newtown, Connectcut couple are one and the same? I am searching in particular for information concerning the Illogan Thomas and Margrit Pearce  prior to and following their marriage.

There were other men named Thomas Pearce born in Cornwall, England, but this is the only one I found who was christened in Illogan.
