Is it possible to have a search refinement added to a specific name search for date? ie: John Smith; sort by date. [closed]

If you enter a search for John Smith, The name "john smith" found 2035 matches.  So, if a date sort option for a specific name search was available, I could scroll to the John Smith's in the time frame that was of interest, and possibly locate matches.  This would make it sooooo much easier.

If that option is available without too much work, could a secondary search for location also be incorporated or is that too much?  :)

Yes, you can search by date.  Please see this thread from a couple days ago and to see if it answers your question:  http://www.wikitree.com/g2g/45199/with-same-people-what-best-determine-which-correct-your-search
