In your opinion, what Wikitreer has the best profile? I've seen some pretty awesome ones!

I am asking because I sure would love to learn how some Wikitreer's make awesome profiles on themselves. I can't figure out how to add the "extras" they put on their profiles. I would love to add some "extras" too. Is there any helps out there??

just look at the edit page with some of the fancy bits you like - I'm guessing its the links that simply show the name of a book or web site, which has been entered within the square brackets for a link
Yes, I like those "tags" or rectangular links with flags or small ancestor photos...

Valerie, there's a problem looking at the edit page - Debbie is asking about members' profiles and, since they are all living, these profiles are private so the edit page can only be seen by the trusted list.

Debbie, you'll probably find more "extras" on some members' own pages than are documented in the Help pages because WikiTree allows leeway for members and their close family than for older profiles.  We aren't required to adhere strictly to all the style guidelines for these profiles.

I helped a cousin make his own profile, using some "extra" bells and whistles.  He died Christmas Eve and I am now manager of his profile.  It could be opened, but I have only made it public because I am concerned that if I open it completely, some do-gooder will come along and remove the "extras" I have put in there.  If you would like to be able to see the edit page, let me know and I will add you to the trusted list for Dick Orkin.

Hey Gaile, you were right about not being able to see member's profiles through the edit tab. Makes sense. What a lovely profile you manage for your cousin. Yes, I like the use of the rectangular "tabs" I see people use and cannot figure out how to do them. I would love a look see...Thanks!
Debbie,  please either send a trusted list request for it or send me a private message so I have your email address - that's necessary to add someone to the trusted list.

I'm not sure what "rectangular tabs" are.  Could you give me an example of a profile that has them?
Thanks Gaile, didn't read her question properly -
Gaile, I sent the Trusted List request. Thanks for reminding me! I hardly ever request...

Which 'extras' did you want?  The Help pages are pretty awesome (use the search box, not the index, it's much easier).

That's a great idea. I use "Help" a lot. I tried adding those rectangular "tags" like some people have, but to no avail...
The rectangular green tags (if that's what you meant) are just for use in G2G.  You won't see them on people's profiles.  The ones with the waving flags are usually 'project boxes', which means you have to belong to the project first.  Or perhaps you are talking about stickers?  How about this page:

Stickers!! That's it! I didn't know what they were called. Thanks so much!!
