Gender removal after change in Last Name at Birth?

After adopting a profile and correcting the Last Name at Birth, the gender of the person was removed.

This has happened a few times and seems to be a glitch.

Can this be investigated and be fixed.

Thanks

Esmé

I realized it only happens when I changed the LNAB to Unknown.
The same glitch still exists - I have come across a few today again

Here is a profile where the LNAB should be changed to Unknown

Esmé, could you give me an example of a profile where the gender got removed after a merge? I've tried to recreate the glitch but I haven't been able to.

Jamie, I have not changed https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Dyer-816 to Unknown yet so so can try it and see if you get the same result

The Profile states - (Nee?) so it has to be changed to Unknown
