Adding Civil War Veteran Category-help needed

I am trying to add a veteran category to my ancestor, William Lawrence. He was in the 1st Arkansas Regiment Mounted Rifles. Looking through the list of options on the  veterans page, there are options for the 1st Confederate Cavalry and the Native American Mounted Regiments, but not for his specific group, unless I am not seeing it. I am not very good with military history, and do not want to mar what has already been posted on the page. If I need to add the category, I will, but was unsure whether it should fall under another category as another sub category or should just go under the Cavalry heading. Any help or direction is appreciated.

It looks like you will need to add a new category for the 1 st Arkansas Regiment Mounted Rifles.  The group was dismounted after 1862 so they were no longer a cavalry unit after that date.

Thank you, Joseph. That is what it looked like to me, as well. He served elsewhere following, so this is just one of his categories, but I hate stepping on toes and wanted to make sure I wasn't misunderstanding the title of another regiment.
