The presidents need your help!

Well maybe they don't but the project group does.  We know many of you may not have the time to devote to joining a project team so here is your chance to help WikiTree.  During the next couple weeks search out a couple presidential profiles (everybody doesn't need to chose Lincoln) and make some comments.  Our goal is to be a genealogical resource for the Presidents.  We aren't trying to duplicate other sites such as Wikipedia in terms of presidential history but we are trying to make it as easy as possible for people to review ancestry and descendent information.  For instance did you know that neither the Lincoln or Washington lines have any direct descendants.

You don't have to join the project team to help start by checking out the president category

Hi Ed,  For Garfield, I just added a picture of his home Lawnfield in 1960 and a video tour of the restored house as it appears today.  There are a lot of entries for his birth and death and such that I think should be removed.  They are unnecessary clutter, but I don't want to make changes to the project protected profile.

I cleaned up much of the redunancy for James Garfield and also added a couple sections for family ancestry and descendants.

The son of James Garfield named James Rudolph Garfield. had a grandson named  Newell Garfield, later married Jane Harrison Walker, a granddaughter of President Benjamin Harrison and Harrison's second wife Mary Dimmick Harrison as well as the great-grandniece of James G. Blaine.

Anybody out there working the Garfield line?
