He was born on 25 Feb 1727 in Sussex County, Virginia and his parents were Nancy Agnes (Ezell) and Benjamin Adams.

Benjamin Adams married about 1751 in Virginia to Margaret Atkinson.

He passed away on 19 March 1795 in Southampton, Virginia, USA. [1]

His widow Margaret also left a Will in Southampton County, Virginia, USA in 1817.

Please see additions made to Thomas Atkinson. The will states his daughter's name is Frances Adams. The wife of Benjamin Adams is named Margaret in his 1795 Southampton VA will. Then Margaret his wife leaves 2 of the same daughters listed in the 1795 will something in her 1817 Southampton, VA Will. There's only one Margaret who is not the same person as Frances the daughter of Thomas Atkinson.
