Ida (Bethel) Patterson is part of a Bahamian family.
Biography
Ida was born in 1844 in the Bahamas. She is the daughter of Winer Bethel and Mary Frederica. By 1860, the family was living in Key West, Monroe County, Florida.[1] They were enumerated there again in 1870.[2]
She married George Bowne Patterson on 27 Jan 1876 in Key West, Monroe County, Florida.[3] In 1880, the couple and their children (Lucille, Eva and Ella) were living with George's widowed mother, Sarah Patterson, in Key West.[4] By 1885, they had their own place and had added another daughter, Frederica, to the family. George's mother, two sisters, and several other family members were living with them.

Ida passed away in 1906. Burial was in the Key West Cemetery, Key West, Monroe County, Florida.[6]
