There are a number of poorly sourced profiles associated with this family in this time period and therefore any merge proposals should be delayed until much more research is done. The data from Family Search in this instance must be viewed as unreliable because the "Methodist Episcopal Church", mentioned, did not exist until 1784, nearly a hundred years later.

I just finished the merge of Samuel Norwood Mansell, and it turned up two wives: Garrett-1951 and Garrett-6653. These look like they represent the same person.
