N.B. The date of birth originally given in this profile was 1731; that date was removed, however, as her first known child was born in 1740 and she would not have been old enough to be his mother.

Catharina^[1][2] was born in 1720 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to unknown parents.

In 1752, when she was in her early thirties, she married Balthasar Hess and bore him three known children, two sons and one daughter:

1. Abraham Hess
2. William Hess
3. Christiana Hess.

She died of unknown causes at an unknown date and location.
