Biography

Joseph was born on 14 Sep 1748 at Wrentham, Suffolk, Massachusetts Bay Colony to Ebenezer Guild and Margaret (Pond) Guild. He married Rebecca Pierce on 2 Nov 1769 at Norfolk, Massachusetts Bay Colony.[1]

Served as a Private at the Lexington Alarm; Captains Fairbanks, Sam Fisher, Colonels Ephraim Wheelock and John Daggett of the 4th MA. [2]

Jospeh passed away on 12 Jan 1819 at Wrentham.[3][4]

Research Notes

There are several source for the marriage that list Rebecca Paine as Joseph's wife.[5] The current FAG memorial for Rebeckah shows her birth name to be Paine [6] However the genealogy at FamilySearch shows her to be a descendant of the Piece line.[7]
