Biography

Baldwin Bushrod Johnson, son of Timothy Johnson and Ann Bayer, was born in March 1844 in Yankee Springs, Barry county, Michigan. In 1850 he was six years old and living in the household of his father in Yankee Springs. ^[1]

Baldwin wed Sarah Caroline Matthews on 19 March 1865 in Barry County, Michigan. They farmed for many years in Yankee Springs Township. They had the following known children:
