Johannes (III) (Hans) Roth (2.Johannes2, I.Johannes1) b. ca 1665, Steffisburg, Ct. Bern, Switzerland, m. in Etupes, France, Maria Kleiner, b. ca 1660, (daughter of Jakob Kleiner and ). Johannes died Feldbach, Haut-Rhin, France. Probably the Hans recorded in lists of Anabaptists at St. Marie-aux-Mines, France in 1697, 1703, 1708. In 1712 all Anabaptists were expelled from Alsace, so he moved to Etupes, France near Montbeliard in 1715, and later to Feldbach. Ref #26. Some think he was married in 1715, but this date is too late for the birth of his son Jakob b. 1690.
