Portion of a copy of a letter written by John Daniell asking for delivery to his brother Capt Robt Daniell of Carolina. Cropped from image 49 of Kent Archives and Local History: U119/c/2 : Letter book kept by John Daniel, master of the New London, merchant-man, trading to India (book continued by his widow, Judith; lists of provisions and stores etc 1677-1706)

This is the only letter that mentions Robert by name. There are several others, written by both John and his wife Judith after his death, which start with either "Brother Daniell" or "Dear Brother".
