In this poor quality photo is my dad, Carl B. Sheppard (in the cart), and his double first cousin, William Conrad "Bub" Shepherd, about 1926. This is one of only two photographs in existance of my dad as a child. Dad and Bub were born only a couple of months apart in 1923. I never met Bub, but my dad had fond remembrances of him. Bub died in 1974, not quite 41 years old. My older brother, Mike, had a striking resemblance to my dad at the same age.
