Family collection. Scan of letter from Fred H Hacker to bank in Charlotte, IA regarding the closing of his account after moving to Cedar Rapids. Below letter is an add from the Charlotte (pronounced "Shar-lot") Record Supplement, dated July 26, 917. We're not sure why this was saved, but oral history suggests Fred's wife, Annora O'Toole Hacker, worked at the City Restaurant advertised in the paper.
