Biography

She was born in Úsilné about 1665[1]. She was the daughter of Martin Šimek and his wife Magdalena (origin from Lhotice) - rustics in Úsilné on Šimek's farm[2]. They lived there, for example in 1674[3]. She had siblings:

  • Jiří (*1647 - he married Eva Holubová from Hosín in 1666, they lived on in Úsilné on Prokeš's farm and later on Eliáš's farm and they had children: ..., Martin, ... ),
  • Šimon (*1650 - he married Dorota Martinová from Zahájí in 1673, they lived on Hrubý's farm in Úsilné and they had children: Martin, ...),
  • Řehoř (*1655 - he worked at prince's office in Vídeň),
  • Matěj (*1657 - he married Alžběta, daughter of Matouš Tůma, from Hůrky about 1677 and they continued on Šimek's farm in Úsilné),
  • Kateřina (*1660, +1670),
  • Dorota (*1671 - she married Martin Řepa from Jivno about 1686, they lived in Jivno on Řepa's farm and they had children: ..., Marie, ...),
  • Veronika (*1673).

Her father Martin Šimek (origin from Kraslice) died about 1675[4].
Her mother (Mandalena born Strýčková in Lhotice) died about 1702[5].

She (orphan Eva Šimková) married first time widower Kryštof Chrt (the rustic in Hosín on Chrt's farm[6][7] from 1650, his first wife was Kateřina) about 1684[8][9]. They continued in Hosín on Chrt's farm, for example in 1690[10], and they had children:

  • Václav (*1685 [11]).

Her first husband Kryštof Chrt died in 1693 and she married Matouš (the son of Vaclav Tesař likely from Tuchonice) in 1693[12][13]. They continued in Hosín on Chrt's farm. They lived there, for example in 1710[14], and they had children:

  • Veronika (*1693 - she married Pavel Košťál from Zvíkov in 1713),
  • Tomáš (*1695),
  • Dorota (*1697 - she married Jan Burcar from Bavorovice in 1720),

Pavel Cíwka changed them on their farm in 1724[15].

Her second husband Matouš Tesař-Chrt died about 1742[16].
She (Eva Chrtová born Šimková in Úsilné) died likely after 1742.
