Katherine Lumley was the da. of Sir Ralph de Lumley, 1st Baron Lumley and Eleanor Neville. She married Sir John Chidiock, Sheriff of Somerset & Dorset, son of Sir John Chidiock, 5th Lord FitzPayn and Eleanor FitzWarin, between 24 April 1418 and 25 March 1425; They had 2 daughters (Katherine, wife of William Stafford, Esq., of Sir John Arundell, of & Sir Roger Lewknor; & Margaret, wife of William, 2nd Lord Stourton, & of Sir John, Lord Cheyne). Katherine Lumley died on 2 June 1461.
