Biography

John was born 20 Feb 1655/66 at Hingham. He was the son of John and Elizabeth (Hobart) Ripley. At the time of his birth his father, John, was 33 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 23.^[1]

He married Jane Unknown 13 Oct 1686.^[1] Children: Ch., all b. in Hing., were —

1. John, Feb. 16, 1687-88.
2. Hezekiah, March 29, 1693.^[2]
3. Jael, Dec. 24, 1694.^[3]
4. Bathsheba, May 19, 1697.^[4] m. 1721, Samuel Gerry, or Torys, of Scit.

He died on September 7, 1720, in Hingham, Massachusetts, at the age of 65.^[1]
