Biography

Birth
Elizabeth Mayo was born in the year 1653 at Eastham, Barnstable, Massachusetts to parents Samuel Mayo (1620 - 1664) and wife Tamsen (Lumpkin) Mayo (1625 - 1709). [1] [2]

A complete birth date of 22 May 1653 had been used in her newly created WikiTree profile, probably obtained from the gedcom uploads. Because the birth day and month are unsupported they were removed at this time.

Marriage and Children
Elizabeth Mayo married Samuel Treat (1648 - 1716) 16 March 1673/4, Eastham, Barnstable, Massachusetts.[3] [4]

Husband Samuel Treat (Robert, Richard, Robert) graduated from Harvard in 1669 and settled in the ministry at Eastham. [5] His father Robert was elected Governor of Connecticut in 1683 but was later supplanted by Sir Edmund Andros in 1687 making Connecticut part of the Dominion of New England. [6] Samuel and Elizabeth remained in Eastham and their known children were:

Death
In her 44th year, Elizabeth Treat passed away 4 December 1696, Eastham, Barnstable, Massachusetts. [7][8] Her husband Samuel married 2nd Mrs. Abigaile Easterbrook 29 August 1700. [7]
