Biography

Caleb Morse, son of Moody and Hannah Morse was born in Sutton, Massachusetts on 26 Jul 1753. ^[1]

Caleb Morse and Lucy Ward were married in Sutton on 18 Aug 1777. ^[5] This marriage is also recorded in Newton, Massachusetts VItal Records as Nov 20, 1777. The first date may be the marriage intention filing. ^[6]

He married second to Hannah (Pope) Nye of New Braintree, Massachusetts. Marriage intention filed in Spencer, Massachusetts on Aug 15, 1812. ^[7] They were married in New Braintree, Massachusetts on Sept 20, 1812. She was his second wife. ^[8]

Caleb died in Spencer, Massachusetts on 8 Dec 1826 at age 73 ^[9] and is buried in Spencer at Old Spencer Cemetery. ^[10]
