Nathan is not listed as a son for Cornelius. He married Abigail about 1692,and she is named in his will dated 2 Aug, 1728. It seems clear that Lydia is not a wife of Cornelius and Nathan is not his son. Can we remove them?????[1]
Will of Cornelius Thayer yeoman of Braintree then Suffolk County, Massachusetts dated 2 Aug 1728, probated Boston 6 Jun 1738 names wife Abigail, two youngest sons Eliezer & Jeremiah (who is later named youngest); then (in order from the will) son Cornelius, daughter Jemima the wife of Deering Spear, sons David, Ezekiel, Richard, Gideon; “Christian Thayer the daughter of my son Moses Thayer dec’d”; son Eliakim. Also mentions Daniel Thayer who has bordering property and “my Brother Nathaniel Thayer deceased”. Wife Abigail and son Eliezer executors. [4]
