Biography

William Bradford. Born bef 18 Dec 1686 in Plymouth, MA.

On 18 Nov 1712 William married Elizabeth Finney in Plymouth,[1] daughter of Josiah Finney (11 Jan 1660/1-2 Jan 1727) & Elizabeth Warren (8762) (15 Aug 1662-14 Sep 1726), in Plymouth, MA.156 Born on 8 Feb 1690 in Plymouth, MA.59 Elizabeth died in Plymouth, MA, on 15 Jul 1778; she was 88. Buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Plymouth.

William died on 9 March 1729/30 in Kingston, Plymouth, Province of Massachusetts Bay.[2] and was buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Plymouth.[citation needed]


Children of William and Elizabeth (Finney) Bradford, the first five born at Plymouth, the remaining three born at Kingston:[3]

  6. William, b. 9 May 1726, d. 23 Jul 1726;
  7. Marcy, b. 15 Jan 1728/9; married Samuel Harlow
  8. Elizabeth, b. 15 Sep 1730, d. 10 Oct 1730

Probate

On 1 April 1730, his widow Elizabeth was granted the administration of his estate.[4]

Inventory of the estate of William Bradford of Kingston taken 13 April 1730.[5]

in 1738, his estate was divided into shares and set out to his widow, Elizabeth, and his children, Charles Bradford (eldest son)(double portion), Sarah Bradford, Mercy Bradford, Josiah Bradford, and Jerusha Bradford. [6]
