Biography

Lydia Cushman was born about 1662 in Plymouth, Massachusetts Bay Colony.^{[1] [2]}

Lydia married William Harlow about January 1682/3.^[3]They had the following known children:

Isaac Harlow

On 19 September 1712, Lydia was granted guardianship of her son Isaac and her daughter Rebecca who were under 14 years old.^[4]

Lydia died intestate on 11 February 1718/9 in Plymouth, Province of Massachusetts Bay.^[5]

On 11 July 1720, her son Thomas was granted the letter of administration for her estate.^[6]

Her inventory was taken on 16 November 1720 in Plymouth. The settlement of her estate shows her debts paid and the remainder was divided between seven children, Thomas, William, Robert, Isaac, Thomas Doty, son of Elizabeth, decd., late wife of Thomas Doty, Lydia, wife of Barnabas Churchell, and Rebeckah Harlow. ^[7]
