It may be possible to confirm family relationships.
It is likely that these
autosomal DNA
test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Elizabeth:
On her Ancestry profile, the comment was made that perhaps she comes from Native descent. If any direct female descendants take an m-dna test, in theory the Native would show up. I personally don't have anything on her parents or potential parents and thought this was interesting. If anyone has any conclusive evidence or knows a relative that can take test, please encourage them.
If Elizabeth (Low-287) JOYCE was b:<1650 then Elizabeth (Howland-399) LOW b:<1640 could not be her mother.
According to TORREY, page 477:
LOW, John (-1676) and [Elizabeth HOWLAND] dau. Arthur; b 1665?, b 1670; Marshfield
[JMS- I believe that TORREY means before with use of b]
If John LOW and Elizabeth HOWLAND did marry about 1665, I believe that this would also preclude Elizabeth as mother of Elizabeth LOW.
