Biography

John Whiton, born April 5, 1681 in Hingham, Plymouth, Massachusetts Bay Colony, New England, is the son of James and Abigail Rickard Whiton.

Probate

The will of John Whiten of Plympton, yeoman, was dated 10 June 1757 and proved on 23 May 1765 in Plymouth. He mentions his wife, Bethiah, and his children, Azariah Whiten, Alpheus Whiten, the two children of his deceased son Zacheus Whiten (Isaac and Zacheus), Alice, wife of Ellis Doty, Jedidah Whiten, and Bethiah, wife of Abraham Jackson.^[2]
