He was the heir of William DeBoys.[1] Also heir to his grandmother, Beatrice Stafford FitzMaurice Roos Burley (see her i.p.m.), his age in 1415 given as between 16 and 18 "and more".
At the battle of Agincourt, "Lord Ros seems to have been with the Duke of Gloucester, the Earl of Huntingdon in the centre portion of Henry V’s army".[2]
Killed in the disastrous Battle of Baugé, 22 March 1420/1.[3] His heir was his brother Thomas.[3]
