Mary Dwight was born at Dedham, Massachusetts on July 25, 1635 to John and Hannah Dwight. ^{[1] [2]}

Marriage

She married Henry Phillips by June 24, 1653. ^{[1] [3]} She was Henry's third wife. ^[4]

Inheritance in Her Father's Will

In her father John Dwight's will, written on June 6, 1658, he left bequests to:

• grandson Eleazor Philips, son of Henry Philips and my daughter Mary
• Should Eleazor be deceased, then his portion is to go to the other children of Henry and Mary. ^[2]

Mary's Will

Her will was written on July 2, 1709 and proved on January 30, 1713/4. ^[1]

Research Notes

I could not find independently-verifiable evidence for her son, Joseph. All the citations as to his parentage are such that I could not find them myself despite looking on AmericanAncestors.org and Records of the First church in Charlestown, Massachusetts, 1632-1789.
