Private Matthew Peck served with New Hampshire Militia during the American Revolution.

Matthew Peck is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A087626.

Matthew was born in 1749, in Rehoboth, Massachusetts, the son of Israel Peck (1697-) and Elizabeth (Carpenter) Peck (bef.1699-bef.1746). Matthew served in the American Revolution. He was in the company of James Osgood in the Canadian campaign, 1776, and re-enlisted 1777 in the New Hampshire Militia.[1][2]

Matthew and Hannah (Sanders) Peck (1763-) were married on 5 November 1779.[3]

Matthew collected a pension, which started on 27 April 1818, for his Revolutionary War service. [4][5]

Matthew died 26 August 1826, in Grafton, New Hampshire, and is buried in the Grafton Center Cemetery.[6]

His widow Hannah filed for his pension after his death. Also in the pension papers:
