Biography

Polly was born on 26 July 1775 in Spotsylvania Co., VA.^[1]

When Polly was about 22 she married Robert Lane in 1798 in Of Washington Co., TN. The couple had 12 children: Tillson (Tillman) Layne, William Layne, Jemima Layne, Elizabeth Ann Lane, Telson (Tilson) Lane, David Layne, Jesse Layne, John Layne, Jonathan Layne, William (Ellis) Layne, Robert Lane and Polly Lane.^[1]

Polly died at the age of about 38 in about 1814 in Barren Co., KY.^[1]
