Johannes Cron arrived 19 Sep 1738 Philadelphia on "the Ship the Thistle, John Wilson, Commander, from Rotterdam, but last from Plymouth in Old England." He signed both loyalty oaths himself, without using a mark (Strassburger 1934, vol I, pp 221-225).

Johannes died 22 Nov 1756 in York, York, Pennsylvania, British Colonial America; will probated 10 Dec 1759 York Co. PA per Family Search, but source lacking.

Burial has not been located.
