Ephraim died in Belmont Corner, Belmont Township, Waldo County, Maine, United States, 1 Mar 1826, at age 69.^[2][3] He's buried in Waldo County's East Knox Cemetery (aka Union Cemetery), in Knox Center.^[2] He was survived by his wife, Ruth, who died in _____________.

Research Notes

Ephraim Severance was a Revolutionary soldier. By some sources he enlisted from New Ipswich New Hampshire in the comapny of Capt. Isaac Farwell in 1777. He was wounded the following October, but was with his company at Stillwater. His name appears in New Ipswich records from 1765 to 1774. ^[4][5]
