Biography

Nabby Bates, the daughter of Abraham Bates, was born on 13 June 1773.[1] This may be incorrect, as she was baptized on 13 June 1773 in Weymouth, Norfolk, Massachusetts.[2] (The Intentions for the marriage of Nabby's parents, Abraham Bate(s) and Sarah Tower (of Hingham), were published at Weymouth on 17 Dec 1749.[3])

Nabby Tower died on 26 May 1833[4] and is buried at the Everdon and Old Tower Cemetery, Leavenworth, Crawford, Indiana.[5] There is a picture of her very rough gravestone at FindAGrave.
