Jonathan Soule was a Revolutionary War soldier serving as a Private in Capt. Calvin Partridge's company, Col. John Cushing's regiment in 1776 marching to Rhode Island, and in Capt. James Harlow's company, Col. Ezra Wood's regiment in 1778 and 1779.

Jonathan Soule was born on December 21, 1747 in Duxbury, Plymouth, Province of Massachusetts Bay, son of Micah Soule (~1711–1778) and Mercy Southworth (>1716–1797).
Jonathan (28) and Honour Southworth (19) were married on February 9, 1776 in Noah & Sylvia Simmons House, Marshfield, Plymouth, Massachusetts. Honour was born on January 21, 1757 in Duxbury, Massachusetts Bay. She was the daughter of Benjamin Southworth and Mary (Hunt) Southworth. Their children were:
Jonathan died on January 6, 1832 in Waterville, Kennebec, Maine, United States, aged 84.
He was buried in Pine Grove Cemetery, Waterville, Maine.
