Jonathan Soule was born on December 21, 1747 in Duxbury, Plymouth, Province of Massachusetts Bay, son of Micah Soule (~1711–1778) and Mercy Southworth (>1716–1797).

Jonathan (14) and Abigail Southworth (20) were married in 1762 in Duxbury. Abigail was born on November 11, 1741 in Duxbury. She was the daughter of Benjamin Southworth and Mary (Hunt) Southworth.

Jonathan (28) and Honour Southworth (19) were married on February 9, 1776 in Noah & Sylvia Simmons House, Marshfield, Plymouth, Massachusetts.
