Tamer Davis was born in Oxford, Massachusetts, on 17 October 1745, the daughter of Daniel Davis and Tamar Towne.[2] She moved with her family to Killingly, Connecticut, where she married Perley Howe 12 Jan 1764. They had five children. She died 31 Dec 1771 shortly after giving birth to their fifth child Zara Davis Howe. He remarried Abigail DeWolf.[3]
