Biography
Falkiner Minchin was born in Ireland.
Falkiner was born in 1757. He was the son of John Minchin II and Caroline Falkiner.
He lived at Puckaine and Nenagh. He also lived at Annagh Castle in County Tipperary, Ireland.
Falkiner was also known as William Falkiner Minchin.
He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 27th Regiment.
He married Maria Gabbett (daughter of William Gabbett and Jane Maunsell) on 7 September 1786 at Cathedral St Mary, Limerick, Ireland. [1]
They had at least eight children.
He passed away in 1825 at the age of about 68.

- At Parsonstown, Falkiner Minchin, Esq., of Annagh, County Tipperary, late Captain in the 27th Regiment, or Enniskilleners.[2]
His will was proved in 1825.[3]
